So far behind!

Holy cow I haven't posted forever! instead of taking on the daunting task of going back through the 7 months since I last did a post I will just move forward with the goal of doing better at updating this!

We are just loving SUMMER! Mayci could live outside if I let her, we spend most of the days outside in the water.....wether it be in the pool, the sprinkler or at the lake she is almost always wet! I am loving it and we are definitely taking advantage of summertime. Other than that I have been training for my 2nd half marathon which is this weekend, I am wondering why I did this to myself again but they are addicting! Sean is going good, he has been working on the backyard and is doing good healthwise. He had a port put in his chest a couple of weeks ago to make his weekly IV treatments a little easier and it has definitely helped him.

We are going to Disneyland in a couple of weeks with Mayci and my parents and we can't wait to see Mayc enjoy it! Mayci turned 18 months this week and she is so much fun! she is so active she just runs around all day long. She can count to 10 on her own and she loves to sing songs. She mimicks most words that we say (we need to watch our mouths) and knows all of her animal sounds and body parts. She loves dressing up and I would say on average she makes me change her shoes 10 times a day and we usually end up in snow/rain boots. I am loving this age! Here are a few updated pic's of Mayc, I love this girl!

Halloween weekend..

We had a BUSY but fun Halloween weekend. We started it off with doing the Roosevelt Halloween parade again...crazyness as usual, we gave out 1800 glow bracelets and ran out of candy! Then we headed to Springville Friday night for a Halloween party which was so fun, but I forgot my camera. Sean was Edward and I was Bella (a little last minute planning this year).

Sesily, Leesa and I got up way to early on Saturday morning to run the Halloween half marathon in Provo, it was so fun but I am still having issues walking 3 days later! I am so glad I did it - I get to check that goal off my list even though I have a feeling I may be addicted and do more of them! We spent Saturday night with Sean's family and all the kids, Mayci was a monster and her costume lasted about 30 minutes; but it was a dang cute 30 minutes! We stayed until Sunday and finished off the weekend with family pictures...crazy crazy weekend but SO much fun! Here are some pictures...

Its been awhile...

Geez, time flies! I haven't had an update in a long time. We have been busy! Mayci will be 10 months old this week, she is crawling around and pulling herself up on EVERYTHING! we have already had a few bruises and sadly I think many more to come. She is afraid of nothing! I had her 8 month pictures done and I posted some, they turned out so cute..thanks Megan! I can't keep up with this girl...I just get pictures done and then its time for the next round!

I have been training for my first half marathon which is in less than 2 weeks (scary!) its been fun training but with the weather changing and the long runs getting really LONG I am ready for it to be done. I used to take Mayci on a run each morning, but she loses her patience with me after 4 miles so I have had to ditch her this past couple of weeks which isn't fun either. Sean has been building our deck in his spare time and its been a big project, but will look great and I can't wait for summer to come again so we get to use it. Sean and I had our 5 year anniversary on the 1st of October, we spent the night in Park City and Mayci spent her first night with Grandma Monica and loved every minute. We also got a new niece on the 8th of October, my brother and Heather had a beautiful little girl named Laken...we love her!

That's it for us and an update - we are ready for some Halloween fun!

Disney World

Sean and I went to Disney World this past week for 6 days, oh and we left our sweet little Mayc with her grandparents! we had so much fun, we missed her tons but all in all a great time. I once again didn't take many pictures, thank heavens Sean got us to get a few. It was a State Farm trip but it was all play, we had a State Farm night at Typhoon Lagoon which was the highlight of the trip. Sean and I had spent the whole day at Blizzard Beach waiting in lines (1 was 90 mins) and then went to the State Farm night from 8:30-11 with NO lines and had a blast! we ran around like little kids and couldn't believe it when they kicked us out, Sean and one of his friends were proud to be the last ones out of the wave pool. We hit every park and were very much Disney'd out by the end, with the heat and humidity I am glad we left Mayci - but it was so so good to be home to her. Here are some pictures and a few updates ones of Mayc. The first pic is my favorite, we went on a scary dinosaur ride at Animal Kingdom I was screaming like a little girl and Sean was laughing at me...we get out to the picture monitor to see his scared face, I love it! not enough to buy it but enough to take a picture of the monitor. I think its fair to say we gave Disney enough of our $$, I was ready for a freebie!

Other than that we have been spending lots of time at the lake, Mayci is a fan. Doing lots of yard work, the front yard is done and the back yard is now fenced...with weeds, but its fenced so lots of work ahead of us there. Sean is still doing amazing, life is good!

Sean's b-day & Memorial Day weekend..

Whew, we have been busy!! Sean's 29th birthday was last Wednesday, we spent the day in Springville at Maddy's graduation (so proud of her). We celebrated his Birthday Wednesday with his family and Thursday with mine...double the cake! we went camping with my family this past weekend and even though the weather wasn't suppose to be good it was great in the mountains and we had so much fun. We went on a 4 wheeler ride (Mayci excluded) and got stuck in the snow for about an hour, we will just chalk it up as an adventure!

Sean is still doing great, still on weekly treatments. Mayci is 5 1/2 months old now and so much fun! oh, and she got her ear's pierced...I felt like the worse mom ever for doing it, but so cute and she hardly cared at all when she got them. Here are some pictures:

Already 4 months...

So Mayci is already 4 months old! time is flying by....she is now 12 lbs 11 ounces and 24 inches long. She is now rolling over both ways and holds her feet all of the time. She is so much fun, we are loving every minute. We just got family pictures & her 4 month pics, she wasn't in one of her smiley moods but they still turned out cute.

Sean is still good, he went to the doctor today and everything is still looking up. They are going to keep him on his weekly treatments which we are happy about. He has been working away at getting our yard put together - our back yard isn't finished so we have alot of work ahead of us! Its so amazing how far Sean has come health wise, last weekend he was pushing a wheelbarrow full of dirt around...it's honestly a miracle!
