The Holidays...

I have been HORRIBLE at posting! I actually got on here to try to change things up and ended up deleting my last post which was still from a little over a month ago. We haven't had anything too exciting going on, we spent Thanksgiving with Sean's family in Springville and Christmas here in Roosevelt with my family. It was our first year of not having to travel on Christmas which was nice, but we did head to Orem yesterday to see Jess & Pucks new baby and go to dinner with Sean's fam. I didn't take many pictures over Christmas, but here are some random ones from the past little while. I hope you all had a great Christmas..Happy New Year!!

Halloween....

So we started out our Halloween festivites with Danny & Nancy's Halloween party. It was so fun, and so good to see everyone. Lots and lots of polygamists there! everyone looked great. Sean was a cowboy and I was a rodeo clown...Sean was dead set on being a cowboy this year, I think he is trying to fit in out here a little bit more!

Next we did the Halloween parade here in Roosevelt on Halloween. It was crazy! we had 1600 glow bracelets and candy and we have less than 100 bracelets left, so there were about 1500 little kids there. It was so much fun to see all the kids dressed up, there were so many cute costumes. We were pooped by the time we were done! Here are some pictures of us on mainstreet with one of our staff, Kaylin. It was a good time, I had no idea that many people would show up.

Pumpkin Pickin....

So our office officially opened on Wednesday! its been crazy to say the least. I feel like we live at the office, but so far so good.

Sean and I decided that it would be cute to have pumpkins to give to our customers so we headed to Salt Lake yesterday to get a truckload of pumpkins. So we called the pumpkin guy to meet up with him and because it had been raining all morning he had sent home all of his help....so he wanted us to come another day. We had driven my dad's huge ol truck out with a trailer and we were no way leaving without pumpkins - so WE picked the pumpkins in the downpour! Luckily Garrett lent Sean his rain boots so he was out in the field picking them and I was unloading them. We were drenched! Our luck stinks - I don't know the last time that I have seen it rain that hard and rain all day long without a break. We were still wet when we got to Roosevelt.....but by dang, we have pumpkins!

Another WRECK!

So we officially have the worst luck ever in our Acura...we got into yet another wreck in it today. We were leaving Roosevelt today heading to Springville and we stopped at a stop light and got hit from behind and then another truck hit him and another truck hit them! Lovely four car wreck...so then we get done with that and continue our trip to Springville and get hit by a big fatty rock which hit our hood and left a dent..geez! This is the third wreck in this car in just over a year for us, none of which have been our fault...does anyone want to buy a car?

Fishing

We went fishing yesterday with Brett, Heather, Porter & Camryn. We took Gus and he was in paradise with all of the water & mud..he was a mess! I just spectated and took pictures. Porter was the only one that caught a fish - so it was a pretty uneventful day, but it was fun.

Sean's new bike

Sean has taken up mountain biking since we moved here....and he finally got a new mountain bike. I got pictures of his first ride on his bike - in his business getup and all! he is like a little kid with it I swear! He went on Friday and only went over his handle bars twice - good thing for helmets! So now that Sean is a mountain biker, I decided I wanted to be a road biker and Sean surprised me with an early birthday present and got me a new road bike...we will see how it goes, I am excited!

Finished Cabinets

So our cabinets have been finished for like three weeks now, I just haven't remembered to take a picture of them! so here they are...I wish we would have taken a before picture but I didn't. I really like them, I think its a good change. Now we are getting ready to replace the lovely green swirl countertops - goody, another project!

Durango Colorado

We made a really quick trip to Durango this weekend with my family for my cousin's wedding. It was beautiful there - but we left Friday after work and stayed in Grand Junction Friday night, went to Durango Saturday morning, barely making it in time for the wedding and made the long trip back home today. I wish we could have stayed longer to actually get to see Durango but it was fun! I posted pic's of the fam, Porter & Camryn are our nephew and niece - they are so stinking cute.

Latest Project..

So Sean is in Arizona this week and I decided to be handy and paint our ktichen cupboards black and distress them....holy cow I didn't know what I was getting myself into! I thought I would easily be done by the time he got home late Friday and its not going to happen. Its seriously all I have done every night this week after work until midnight or later and I just barely got them all sanded and primed so I can actually start painting tomorrow night! Geez...its funny that I thought this would be a "fun" little project, I hope they turn out good or I'll be ticked. Hopefully I will be posting pictures of the completed project soon.

We are officially Roosevelt Residents..

So we are offically all moved! it has been crazy, the movers came and packed us all day Wednesday, loaded us Thursday, and brought it all here Friday. I always thought it would be so nice to have movers come, but I think I would rather do it ourselves. They were great and all but kinda slow...plus we are missing some stuff - but we are done! Our little house is cute, its pretty little but it is nice....its been a busy weekend but we are settled!

American Idol Live

Me and my friend Kristy went to American Idol Live last Tuesday, it was great! I love love love David Cook and Michael Johns....it was seriously so fun! we even got the official tour shirts, its weird..I can't keep it off Sean! ha just kidding...

Our new obession...

So Sean and I got a Wii Fit and we are addicted! Every night we have to battle it out for the top spots, meanwhile I can hardly move because my sides and legs are so dang sore. Sean says he isn't sore at all but I think he is fibbing a bit. Sean was the long holding winner of the hula hoop and the skiing...but I have redeemed myself and I am the current hula hoop record holder! This is seriously one of the most addicting games I have ever played, I am going to have to get some action shots of Sean hulaing....its quite impressive.

A little update....

So here is a picture of our office in Roosevelt! Things have been CRAZY to say the least. Sean and I basically see each other on Saturdays....he is either in Phoenix or in Vernal training so this summer will be a hard one because this is how its going to be until October. Not only do we not see each other but he also left his cell phone in Phoenix last week - they found it but shipped it to our house, the people at Holiday Inn Express have to hate Sean and I because I call all the time! You never realize how much you depend on your cell phone until its gone. Our house is under contract and is set to close July 17th which puts us moving to Roosevelt that weekend - we didn't expect our house to sell so fast it was only listed for a week! lets hope it all goes through....so far so good, its just crazy its getting so close to moving time!

Happy Birthday Sean!

So I posting this a day late, but Sean's birthday was yesterday! The BIG 27. At first I thought having his birthday on Memorial Day would be fun because we both wouldn't have to go to work...but I don't know if spending your birthday at the cemetary is really the ideal birthday! Sean was a good sport and we had a fun day - we spent it in Roosevelt and we attempted the lake in the 60 degree rainy, windy weather but got there and decided against backing the boat in, but we did try. I just wanted to post this even though I am late in doing it..Happy Birthday Sean you are the best hubby ever, I love ya!

Kassie's Wedding

So one of my best friends got married on Friday...Sean was in Phoenix so my mom came out and went to the wedding and luncheon with me (she's so nice). I unfortunately suck at taking pictures and only got one throughout the whole wedding Friday and reception Saturday but everything was gorgeous and I am so excited for Kas and Dustin...need we say one more time that Sean and I set them up?? man we're good!

Cookie Chaser...

Sharee, Kristy and I ran the Girl Scouts "Cookie Chaser" today....we ran the 2k and 5k. It was Sharee and I's first race, and we made it! we had fun, I am glad we did it. Funny race though, Mrs. Samoa and Mr. Thin Mint start running then we chased them...random but fun! Thanks Kristy for the invite!!

California

So me and Sean went to California a little over a week ago, and I went to Disneyland for my first time. I LOVED IT! we were there all day long, from when the doors open till when they closed. We had so much fun and we were both completely pooped by the end of the day! My definate favorite would have to be Space Mountain, I loved it! We stayed in downtown LA and tried to see some stars in Hollywood but we were unsuccessful. I am obsessed with "The Hills" so I made Sean go eat at Heidi and Spencer's favorite Mexican restaurant and it was yummy! We went to an Angels game, and went to Santa Monica and Venice Beach...the people watching was great at both, there are some crazies out there! It was a nice getaway....

A day at the office with Gus...

So I took Gus to work with me today....it was quite the experience! Sean and I have both been out of town for work this week and now we are headed to California tomorrow for my first trip to Disneyland!!! I am so excited!! Poor little Gus I think feels a little abandoned so my mom picked him up today to take him to Roosevelt for the week....the only way it worked for the pickup was for him to spend most of the day at my office. He loved it, he pretty much sat on my desk like this for most the day because he could see out the windows!! Well he sat like this until I was on the phone and he snuck away to take a poo in the back office.....that was a little frowned upon by my boss....he seriously stunk up the whole office!!

Clark State Farm....

SO many of you already have heard the news, but Sean and I are moving to Roosevelt to take over the State Farm office there! I think we may be crazy, but we are so excited! Things have fallen into to place so smoothly and we will officially open our doors on October 1st of this year...so we will probably be leaving Augustish. Sean starts the intern program in a week and is excited that he will now be a "cowboy".....its going to be so hard to leave our friends here but I am excited to be near my family and we will make lots of visits. I can't believe we are actually doing it, but I think its going to be great!

A week in Tucson......

I just spent this past week in Tucson for work. It was great! it was so warm (85 to be exact) and the resort was amazing! Sean wasn't able to go because I was in meetings all day. I wish I would have had some time for some pool time, the picture of the pool was as close and I got...regardless it was nice to get away from the cold weather for a bit!
